THE 2010 KODAK MOMENT

THE WINNER!

MENORCA TOUR

Being there. The glorious Octopi ride the waves and speed round the coast on Will's boat for a spot of lunch and a private beach to cap off the club's first overseas tour in 63 years of existence.

2nd place - Debutant Joe Reid, brother of Sam, smites his way into Octopus history with a sensational 95-ball double =

3rd place - Matt 'Ray Mears' Dempsey takes football-based set-backs and a reluctant groundsman in his stride to wander off nonchalantly for fire-wood, start a small well-controlled blaze in the corner of St Aloysius and keep the day's main attraction admirably on-tra

4th place - Winter celebrates impending fatherhood with an explosive maiden fifty as proud parents watch him play for first time in 20 years

5th place - The skipper salutes his teammates on completion of a magnificent quick-fire century - the first Octopi ton for nearly 3 years.

6th place - Charlie's over-exuberant shy invites a stream of choice A James invective as Papa Octopus sets off on long sprint to the boundary in pursuit of overthrows.

7th place - Hodge's caps off his 'angry spell' with a feisty double wicket over after drinks to effectively seal the match

8th place - Marsh spins and rips a leg-break through the gate to compressively castle HOB's left hander

9th place - Marsh picks up the ball sharply at extra cover and with one stump to aim at crashes down the stumps to leave batsman a fraction short

10th place - Will caps a great opening spell with a full, fast outswinger to trap last year's centurion plumb in front and reduce Hoopers to 29-2
